New for 2017 is an area in the orangery for alternative, complimentary health professionals offering taster sessions of reflexology, aromatherapy, psychic medium, reiki healing, sports massage, wellbeing through Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and more.
Clare Davidson of Sedgwick Park House, Southwater, will be present and explains; ‘We can’t go through life without being impacted by something, whether it be exam results, a bereavement, work, childhood issues, we are scared inside and tapping (EFT) is just one way of releasing negativity from your body and mind.’
Sally Pavey volunteer organiser said:
“It seemed appropriate to us volunteers to offer some complimentary ways of dealing with the what life throws us all and we hope visitors will make use of this new area of the fair to sample ways in which we can relax and become healthier from the inside out.”
Cancer Research Brighton are providing professionals during the weekend to chat about their research into the cause of the 200 cancer types through DNA research. Visitors will be able to see the laboratories through reality goggles that will take them on a 3D experience.
There will be some car parking at the back of Parkside building for a £1 donation to the cause for visitors.
